Hemofarm Hosted the ’Red Star’ Handball Players
21. January 2016.
Around 30 ’Red Star’ handball players, headed by the coach Nenad Peruničić, visited the manufacturing complex Hemofarm in Vršac. The handball club ’Red Star’ is practising in Vršac before the spring part of the competition, and the visit to Hemofarm was organized so that handball players would get to know the town in which they have been practising hard for days.

The hosts presented the factory ’first-hand’ and showed them how medicines, which are sold in 38 countries worldwide, are manufactured and packed.

’Hemofarm is a company committed to health, and therefore, strongly associated with sport. We are proud that Vršac has became one of the most important sports centers, not only in Serbia but also throughout the world, as the host of the University games, European and world championships, through our long-standing support to the SC Millennium. The ’Red Star’ initiative to visit Hemofarm during its preparations in Vršac shows that in addition to the affirmation of healthy habits and lifestyles, handball and pharmacy have something else in common: teamwork and a desire for achieving ever better results. I wish a lot of success to these young guys in the spring part of the championship, Sinisa Čanković, Assistant Director of Hemofarm Production, said.

’Red Star’ ended 2015 in the first place of the Super Handball League of Serbia, and preparations in Vršac are the last ones before the spring part of the competition.
