Hemofarm’s ESG Festival placed Belgrade on Sustainability Map
23. October 2025.
Hemofarm Company has organised the second ESG festival at the Museum of Science and Technology, which will be held in Belgrade between 23rd and 26th October this year. Already on the first day, this year’s festival brought together organisations and individuals through panels to share knowledge, exchange experiences, showcase best practices, and encourage new initiatives with measurable results for the community and the economy.

As our CEO, Ronald Seeliger, emphasised, sustainability is not a simple ‘leap’ involving millions in expenditures, but rather a continuous series of smart, small decisions that are embedded in every investment and step forward.

„We want to enhance synergy and help companies do the right things, to support them, and for that, it is necessary to align“, said Seeliger.

Ronald Seeliger also highlighted the necessity of initiating an open discussion, emphasising that it is crucial for us to collaborate in sustainable development and ensure that things truly happen.

„Sustainability is in effect the basis for everything in the future. It is not about investing millions of euros now and being ‘super’ next year. It is about a gradual approach and the journey we are on. We are here to collaborate with other companies and experts to showcase what we can achieve together, both economically and socially, alongside decision-makers. We are especially looking forward to Sunday, the open-door day, which is our gift to Serbia, aimed at informing and educating the public. Bring your family and friends to the Museum of Science and Technology, as it promises to be a very exciting event.“, pointed out Seeliger.

At the festival, the ESG Stars awards were presented for the first time to companies and organisations for their long-term contribution to sustainable development at the local level. The awards were presented to companies Delta Holding, Coca-Cola HBC, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PwC, as well as the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

During the first day of the ESG Festival, an 8-hour programme was organised across three panels, three workshops, and three ESG talks, providing an excellent platform for open dialogue. Thus, the festival showcased tangible ESG solutions for immediate practical application with an emphasis on health as a shared value through prevention. During the morning session, there were discussions focused on climate strategies that ‘work’, while the afternoon panel brought together representatives from the Ministry of Health and STADA Group. Frank Staud, Executive Vice President of STADA Group, introduced the public to the health habits of European citizens in 2025, according to the company’s latest Health Report

During the third panel, a discussion was held on the topic of artificial intelligence and sustainable development between Tobias Günther, Senior Vice President of the STADA Group, and Milan Gospić, CEO of Microsoft Garage Serbia.

At the ESG Festival organised by Hemofarm, more than 20 companies, institutions, and civil society organisations are participating, while over 40 individuals have taken part in panels and workshops.
