Belgrade Becomes the Center of Sustainability from 23 to 26 October
09. October 2025.
This autumn, Hemofarm will once again host the ESG Festival, which will take place at the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade from 23 to 26 October. The main day of the event will be Thursday, 23 October, featuring panel discussions with experts from companies, academic community, and the civil sector. Meanwhile, 26 October will be dedicated to Family Day at the Museum, which will be open to all citizens.

ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) has long been an obligation of modern business and life. The idea behind the festival is to bring people together in one place to exchange experiences, showcase best practices, and inspire new initiatives that deliver measurable results for the community and the economy. This year’s focus is on concrete solutions and tools that companies, startups, schools, and individuals can implement immediately.

What did it look like last year?

Last year’s event brought together experts from more than 65 companies, institutions, and organizations, featuring lectures, workshops, and a startup fair that demonstrated how sustainability is put into practice, from reducing ecological footprints to strengthening community impact. It was precisely this blend of knowledge, inspiration, and application that made the Festival a true turning point.

The Festival is organized by Hemofarm, a member of the STADA group, a company that has been publishing sustainability reports and implementing ESG policies in practice for years. Its focus remains on continuous learning, collaboration with the academic community, and open dialogue with all stakeholders, from government institutions to young people.

The central day of this year’s Festival, 23 October will feature a series of panels with representatives from companies and the public sector. In addition to showcasing Hemofarm’s latest sustainability report, the topics will also focus on practical solutions: how to reduce emissions and costs through energy efficiency, how to shape an inclusive workplace culture, how good governance contributes to better results, how startups and innovations fit into new value chains and how artificial intelligence will impact sustainability. The goal of the Festival is for visitors to take away concrete steps that they can implement in the near future.

26/10 – Free Admission to the Museum of Science and Technology

The end of the festival will be marked by an open doors day at the Museum of Science and Technology, providing the perfect opportunity for families, students, and pupils to explore interactive exhibits for free and see how science, technology, and sustainability are intertwined in our daily lives. Education is key, and this day is dedicated to ensuring that as many people as possible can approach science and sustainable ideas without barriers.
