• This year in Serbia, Hemofarm has launched One Two Three - the first supplement umbrella brand
The regional pharmaceutical leader Hemofarm has marked 64 years of successful operation and development, in the rhythm of healthy life.
Hemofarm, since 2006 a member of STADA Group, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Europe, keeps on breaking the existing records and setting the new ones with 347 million packs or 7.8 billion units produced in 2023.
‘In addition to hitting a record high production year after year, we managed to keep the position of the regional market leader in exceptionally challenging times. For the third year in a row, Hemofarm was declared the Top Employer in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while at the same time, STADA Group was recognised as the Top Employer Europe 2024. We continued investing in people, processes, production innovations and expanding the portfolio by the cutting-edge therapies’ said
CEO of Hemofarm Ronald Seeliger.
The first supplement umbrella brand
One Two Three, representing the three basic pillars of health: balanced diet, physical activity and good sleep through three parts of the day - awakening the body and mind, the most active and largest part of the day, and rest, has been launched in Serbia in 2024.
‘One Two Three is intended for everyone looking for ways to improve their health, and Hemofarm is there to care for people’s health as a trusted partner. We believe that One Two Three will help our consumers find and follow the true rhythm of their life, providing them with the necessary support for good health and vitality’, Seeliger emphasized.
As one of the pioneers in sustainable business in this region, the company presented one of its most important projects - STADA EXPO, a multimedia mobile platform in Vršac last year. During its four-month-long tour across four European countries, the exhibition was presented in Serbia, Romania, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, rendering a unique opportunity to the visitors to experience the sustainable development in practice.
‘Pursuing the sustainable development journey, we strive to contribute to the development of the entire society and educate others along that journey through the improvement and development of Hemofarm. Our clear determination is to walk the untrodden paths. Through our Hemofarm Foundation we keep on implementing „The Most Important Call in Life“, campaign, which is aimed at increasing the number of organ donors to save the lives of about 2,000 people waiting for a transplant. We are also focused on the care for people’s mental health and wellbeing by actively fighting against the stigma that the persons with mental disorders face. Region-wide, we raise the awareness of the importance of health and preventive medical checkups through various campaigns sending the message – Check-up yourself’, Seeliger pointed out
Hemofarm started operating in Vršac on 1 June 1960, with only 30 employees, while 64 years later it has around 4,500 employees, and operates globally on four continents. Apart from Serbia, with the production plants located in Vršac, Šabac and Dubovac, Hemofarm produces its top-quality pharmaceuticals also in Banjaluka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Podgorica (Montenegro). The independent agency Sustainalytics rates STADA Group among top 6% of pharma companies globally in ESG ratings.
Family Day for Children and Employees
The Family Day for employees and children was held at Vršac factory to mark the company anniversary. This year, as usual, Hemofarm has honoured its jubilarians, while a voluntary blood donation drive has also been organized in cooperation with the Vojvodina Blood Transfusion Institute. All citizens of Vršac, together with Hemofarm employees with their children, had a unique opportunity to visit STADA EXPO, a multimedia exhibition dedicated to sustainable development. The children were especially delighted with the fun and educational program that Hemofarm prepared for them.
