STADA EXPO in Banjaluka - The future starts now
05. December 2023.
The company Hemofarm presented, a unique STADA EXPO multimedia platform dedicated to sustainable development in the university campus (Studenski Grad) in Banja Luka.

STADA EXPO is a multimedia exhibition of STADA group which shows production processes in the pharmaceutical industry through an interactive and sustainable prism, and combines science, technology, and above all, the people behind the entire process in an educational and innovative way. STADA EXPO started its European journey in Vršac, continued through Romania and Montenegro, and ended this year's tour in Banja Luka.

’Hemofarm is the pharmaceutical leader in the country and region, but also one of the leaders of sustainable development. We save resources, constantly improve processes, but above all we care about the health of people and local communities. All this is shown through this unique project at the place where the future is, and that is the University of Banja Luka. We hope to motivate each individual to step together towards a sustainable future, and is there a better place for that than the place of knowledge’, said Saša Urošević, director of Hemofarm in BiH.

STADA EXPO is a modular exhibition platform consisting of four specially adapted used containers. Each travelled more than two million kilometres and visited more than 20 countries, and through this project they all got a new chance. This is the best example of sustainability. The containers are equipped with state-of-the-are technologies, ranging from virtual reality headsets, touch-sensitive displays to a human body hologram.

’Our University is keeping up with contemporary trends. We are always open to new ideas and projects for our current and future students. STADA EXPO also speaks in support of this, showing, among other things, the personal contribution of each of us to society and the environment. I am convinced that these young people, our students, understand this and that they can offer the planet and society more than previous generations have offered. Our University is certainly one of such examples, where a whole process of sustainability takes place: from the botanical garden, through the retention of the best staff, which is a component of social sustainability, to constant growth and development from domestic and international funds, which is the basis of economic sustainability’, said Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Ostojić, Vice Rector for Scientific Research and Development of the University of Banja Luka.

By publishing the first global sustainable development report, STADA group, within which Hemofarm operates, has shown its commitment to this topic vitally important for the civilization. The 11th Hemofarm and second Stada Sustainable Development Report was recently published.
