Hemofarm’s Female Mentorship Program: ‘Unique and Important’

The company Hemofarm initiated the mentorship program ‘Unique and Important’ intended to women doing business in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro who have the ambition to advance in their professional development. This program lasts for a year and it covers six meetings where participants, working together, improve their career through consultation, exchange of knowledge and experience.

The objective of the program is to empower women and promote the concept of female leadership. The holders of the program are female mentors and leaders from the company Hemofarm STADA and STADA GIS, who will readily face all the challenges that this program entails and will provide continuous support to the female mentees during the program.

It was announced In Hemofarm's Sustainable Development Report for 2021, that 64 percent of the leadership positions in our organization are held by our #uniqueandimportant female colleagues. These results clearly show that the diversity we value, we truly live every day.

‘The long tradition of female leadership in our organization has produced the cumulative knowledge that is needed in order for a program like this to bring value to each mentee and enable her to grow in the direction she wants. When we talk about diversity, we also talk about uniqueness, and everyone can be who they are in our company, because what makes our people unique also makes us unique’, concluded the director of talent management, Jelena Šolajić.



The overall mentorship process will cover six meetings where the female participants, working together, will improve their career through consultations, exchange of knowledge and experience. The program objective is empowering women and promoting the concept of female leadership. The program holders are female mentors and leaders from our companies that occupy important and leading positions.
