Solution for sore throat: Panthenol oriblets, new product in Hemofarm’s portfolio

Panthenol oriblets have recently been launched and they are sold in the market of Serbia and Republic of North Macedonia. What sets this product apart from most other products in this category is its composition, i.e. the presence of pantothenic acid, which for decades has been the gold standard at the global level in solving problems such as sore throat.

‘In addition to the composition of the product, as another advantage, I would single out the extremely pleasant and mild orange taste’, said Neda Burić, regional product manager at Hemofarm.

A sore throat is an inconvenience, which we can say happens quite often, especially during the winter months. Hoarseness and irritating cough are most often caused by viruses or pathogenic bacteria.

These symptoms can occur both in children and adults, and Hemofarm’s Panthenol oriblets represent a solution for the whole family because they can be used also by children, aged five and older. Besides, oriblets have a comfortable dosing of one tablet a day.

The source of pantothenic acid is Calcium D pantothenate.

Gold standard

Panthenol oriblets are a product that represents the gold standard in sore throat therapy. ‘The decades-long presence of products containing pantothenic acid at the global level confirms the effectiveness of this substance in sore throat caused by various causative agents.’ In addition, thanks to the absence of drug interactions, Panthenol oriblets can be an addition to antibiotic therapy in various respiratory infections’, added Neda Burić.

Pantothenic acid in the tissues is included in the composition of coenzyme A, which is necessary for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and the neutralization of the harmful effects of some metabolic products. These processes enable the participation of pantothenic acid in preserving the proper functioning of the healthy mucosa and restoring the mucosa of the mouth, pharynx, tongue and gums.

Oriblets pleasantly cool the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, pharynx and gums and enable the regeneration of the mucous membrane in case of irritations caused by infectious agents, wearing orthodontic appliances or prostheses and irritations of various origins (tobacco smoke, smog). They are especially recommended for people prone to frequent inflammation and irritation of the throat and gums.
