New Hospital Beds for the Emergency Centre of the Clinical Centre of Serbia

Hemofarm company donated another 20 hospital beds with necessary equipment and anti-decubitus mattresses worth RSD 5.6 million to the Emergency Centre of the Clinical Centre of Serbia. This is one of many donations to healthcare institutions in Serbia by Hemofarm, which donated equipment and medicines worth as much as RSD 20 million during 2019 alone.

’The main goal of the Emergency Centre and the Ministry of Health is that all our patients have the best treatment conditions. Hemofarm has clearly recognized our intention and this is the third year in a row that we received a donation worth more than five million dinars, for beds and anti-decubitus mattresses for the most severely ill patients in intensive care units. The patients in most critical and difficult condition from entire Serbia are treated at the Emergency Centre, therefore, it is of utmost importance to provide good treatment conditions for them. I sincerely hope that successful cooperation and partnership between us and Hemofarm would become a tradition’, said director of the Emergency Centre of the CCS, Ass. Prof. Dr. Marko Ercegovac, on the occasion of the latest donation.

As the CEO of Hemofarm, Dr. Ronald Seeliger said, this was just one of the ways Hemofarm helped to improve the treatment of patients in Serbia. ’By donating hospital beds, we directly influence the quality of hospital treatment for the patients and also support the work of the most humane profession. Doctors and medical staff at the Emergency Centre have huge responsibility – they fight for our lives 24/7, and we are happy when our aid makes their work easier. Hemofarm has constantly supported clinics and healthcare centres all over Serbia, and after six decades of its existence, there are hardly any hospitals that had not received aid on some occasion. This type of our aid to healthcare institutions directly improves the treatment of patients’ Dr. Seeliger pointed out.

As a sign of appreciation of the long-lasting support, the director of the Emergency Centre presented the CEO of Hemofarm with a cast statue of Virgin Mary.
