The new German Ambassador to Serbia, Thomas Schieb, visited Hemofarm company, member of Stada Group, and he pointed out on that occasion that Germany is the longest-standing and one of the biggest economic partners of Serbia. German companies invested more than EUR 2.2 billion in the Serbian economy so far and created around 50,000 new jobs.

During his first official visit to Hemofarm, the German ambassador, accompanied by Hemofarm’s CEO Ronald Seeliger, had a tour of the new Packaging Centre which is unique in the Balkans in terms of its capacities and technological standards.

‘Since August 2006 when the German company Stada acquired Hemofarm, approximately EUR 300 million was invested in modernization of business operations, equipment and new plants’ says Ronald Seeliger, CEO of Hemofarm and Vice President of Stada Group. ’Stada invested as much as EUR 21.6 million in the new Hemofarm Packaging Centre, which the ambassador visited today. This investment is one of the biggest at the level of the entire Group, and its value clearly shows that German companies which invest in the Serbian economy have long-term plans“, said Seeliger, who is also the Chairman of German-Serbian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
