Education of employees

Education is the Core of Real Progress

Continuous education and investing in the professional development of employees is a long-term strategic goal in most of the activities of Hemofarm’s Human Resources Division.

In 2014 alone, employees participated in over 4.000 different training courses. Most of the internal training courses were organised for new employees and with regard to new operating procedures, by means of which work procedures and processes are continuously improved. In accordance with their needs, employees also attended professional and external training courses, as well as ‘soft skills’ courses.

Talent Identification and Development Project has been Promoted since 2012

The Human Resources Division has been engaged in the ‘talent development programme’ since 2012 through a structured approach to the development of knowledge, skills and other competences. In line with personal and corporate needs, training and courses are organised daily for employees who have, in accordance with their performance results, been identified as the potential bearers of further growth and development for Hemofarm.

A total of 485.164 euros was invested in external education throughout the entire Hemofarm Group in 2014, which was 27% more in relation to the year 2013 (2013 – 350.000 euros), while at the level of Hemofarm A.D. it amounted to more than 388.107 euros, which was 16% more in relation to the previous year.

Opportunities for Students

Hemofarm provides students with opportunities to develop their knowledge, skills and abilities through professional internships. In this manner, students have the opportunity to gain practical experience required for the future, while Hemofarm, on the other hand, can identify potential future employees.

We are proud to be a part of the STADA Group which brings us further international experience and opens up additional opportunities for work and development.
