MIODRAG BABIĆ, B.Sc.Chem.Eng.
He was born in Zrenjanin on April 29, 1951. He graduated from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade, at the Organic Chemical Engineering Department, course – Technology of Petrochemical Products.
He started his business career with Brixol in 1974, as a chemical engineer in the production department. He was the Managing Director of Hemofarm from 1982 to 1996. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hemofarm A.D. since 1993, and, since June, 1996, the President of Hemofarm Group.
Mr. Babic has also been President of the Yugoslav Association of Pharmaceutical Producers and President of the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia. He was a member of the Yugoslav Olympic Committee Presidency for 12 years as well as the founder and first President of the Serbian Business Club ‘Privrednik’. |
